About this tour:
Discover two iconic destinations packaged on an excellent value itinerary. Start in Athens with a visit to the Acropolis and Parthenon before hopping to the famous Islands of Mykonos and Santorini. Spend two nights on each Island to explore at leisure.
Then onto Italy, explore Rome, considered the largest open-air Museum in the world. Tour the famous Colosseum and the Vatican Museums-Sistine Chapel with a private expert guide leading the way.
Discover Pompeii's archeological site, the ancient Roman city devasted after Mount Vesuvius's eruption.
Continue to Sorrento, the beautiful town perched on a cliff overlooking the Gulf of Naples; you have plenty of time to wander thru its alleyways and squares full of historic buildings, open-air restaurants, and interesting shops. Itinerary

Board your international Flight to Athens; we offer departures from most major cities in the USA and Canada.
Required valid American or Canadian passport with empty pages. Valid for at least six months past your intended return date.
Upon arrival in Athens, transfer to your Hotel by driver only. Later our representative will contact you to meet you at the Hotel at your convenience to give you an orientation and deliver your ferry tickets.

After breakfast at your hotel, begin your day with a panoramic tour of the most important monuments and landmarks of Athens, including the Panathinaikon stadium, the Zappeion, the temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, Syntagma square, the Parliament, the tomb of the unknown soldier, Schliemann's house, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and the old Parliament. Next, a guided visit to the Acropolis, including the Propylaea, the temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon, and the Erechtheion. Later, continue with a guided visit to the Acropolis Museum. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the city at your own pace.

After breakfast at your Hotel make your way independently to Rome's train station.
Meet our representative at Termini Rail Station (about 8:00 a.m.) and take the high-speed train to Naples.
Upon arrival in Naples, our local assistant meets you at Naples train station who will assist you with Pompeii archaeological site guided tour. This ancient Roman city was destroyed when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD and buried it, preserving it under a sea of volcanic ash for nearly 1700 years.
At the end of the visit transfer to Sorrento, famous for its picturesque old town center and characteristic fisherman's village of Marina Grande, one of the most authentic treasures of the city.
A local assistant welcomes you at hotel during the check-in and gives you all the information for next day's Capri excursion and other important information.

Sail to the beautiful Island of Capri, one of the most famous destinations in Italy.
Once landing on the Island continue by minibus to Anacapri. Then reach the legendary Piazzetta, the heart of the island.
Explore on your own while you enjoy the amazing views.
Optional: Assisted by your guide you could purchase a boat ride to see the blue Grotto (subject to weather conditions).
Return to the port to head back to Sorrento.
