Start your journey in Athens, one of Greece’s oldest cities and home to the world-famous Acropolis & The Parthenon, the hallmark of ancient Greek civilization.

Travel through forested mountain rangers and charming towns to visit the archaeological site of Delphi and the Oracle of Apollo.
Then continue to the UNESCO world heritage site of Meteora. These 14th & 15th-century old monasteries are standing on huge natural sandstone pillars hence the name Meteora, meaning suspended in the air.

Your itinerary continues to one of Greece’s most famous islands, Santorini. Santorini offers the most breathtaking views of the Greek Islands and something for everyone, from unique beaches, charming towns, or archeological sites such as the ancient buried city of Akrotiri.

The day is dedicated to exploring the city of Athens. We begin with a panoramic tour of the most important monuments and landmarks of the city, including the Panathinaikon stadium, the Zappeion, the temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, Syntagma square, the Parliament, the tomb of the unknown soldier, Schliemann's house, the Academy, the University, the National Library, and the old Parliament. Next, we head for our guided visit to the Acropolis, including the Propylaea, the temple of Athena Nike, the Parthenon, and the Erechtheion. Later, we continued with a guided visit to the Acropolis Museum, voted one of the best museums in the world. Afternoon at leisure to explore Plaka, the picturesque old part of the city, and why not, some shopping at Ermou street.

Breakfast

After breakfast, we depart northwards towards Delphi, which used to be the most sacred place in the world and a pilgrimage center for centuries in antiquity. You will admire the Sanctuary of Apollo, walk the Sacred way, and visit the temple of Apollo, home of Pythia (the Oracle). In the afternoon, we will be crossing the mountains of central Greece to arrive in Kalambaka on time for dinner.

Breakfast and Dinner

After breakfast, depart for Meteora. Standing on top of fantastic rock formations, the Meteora Monasteries have been a sacred retreat for monks over the centuries. The view over the plain is breathtaking.

Meteora is considered among the most beautiful areas of mainland Greece and belongs to UNESCO's list of world heritage monuments. After our visit, we will take the road back to Athens. On the way, we will make a short stop at Thermopylae to admire the statue of Leonidas, king of Sparta.

After early morning breakfast, transfer to Athen's port of Piraeus to catch the local ferry to Santorini. Arrive in Santorini in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

At leisure, explore the magical island of Santorini. Enjoy the unique black-sanded beaches or take a boat tour to the caldera islands. Discover Fira & Oia with the breathtaking views of the volcano, and marvel at one of the best sunsets in the Aegean.

After breakfast, morning at leisure until the time to transfer to Santorini's Port for your ferry back to Athens.
