Itinerary

Board your International flight to Lisbon; we offer departures from most major cities in Canada or the USA.
You need a valid Canadian or American passport with blank pages. If there is insufficient space in the passport, you will be denied boarding. Your passport should expire six to eight months after your intended Return date; Even a day difference will deny you boarding.
Children travelling with one parent, or other person/s, or where parent/s are deceased, must be in possession of a notarized affidavit from the remaining parent/s or guardian permitting the child to travel.
Upon arrival in Lisbon meet our Representative who will assist you with transfer to your Hotel. (Driver only).

Stand out from the Town Palace, the Pena Palace (Ticket entrance included). Visit Piriquita the pastry of the famous queijada (included: one cake and one coffee).
Back in Lisbon, see the 16th-century Jeronimos Monastery (UNESCO); the Monument to the Discoveries, honoring intrepid Portuguese explorers and their patrons; and the impressive Belem Tower (Tickets are not included).
Visit an old patisserie that has managed to hold on to the secret recipe of Portugal's finest pastry for over 100 years and enjoy a demonstration and tasting of the famous 'pastéis de Belem' (egg tarts). Visit the castle of S. George (Ticket entrance included), considered the most emblematic monument of Lisbon, the Castle of S. George is a relevant witness of odd moments in the history of Lisbon and Portugal.

After Breakfast; Your day on Portugal's "Silver Coast" begins in the medieval walled town of Óbidos village – surrounded by medieval walls and by its whitewashed houses.
Don't forget to drink Ginja, It is a Portuguese liqueur made by infusing ginja berries (sour cherry) in alcohol (brandy is used) and adding sugar together with other ingredients. It's the second most popular alcoholic drink in Portugal after the Port wine.
This tour also features the imposing sanctuary of Fátima, a center of Catholic faith and destination for pilgrims from across the world.

After breakfast; Tour through Porto's history, architecture, culture, gastronomy, trade, encounters, and discoveries.
Walking tours in Porto, visits to the city's historical center of world heritage and monuments of Porto. Itinerary (3 hours – without a car): Torre dos Clérigos (Tickets are not included), Livraria Lello e Irmão (Tickets are not included), Avenida dos Aliados, Estação de S. Bento, Ponte Luís I, Sé Catedral, Bairro da Sé and Ribeira.
Then, we will have a brief presentation of the olive oil sector in Portugal with technical proof of three Portuguese olive oils. After that, we will taste some Portuguese products, for example, cheese, ham, olive oil, wine, bread, and sausage.
In the afternoon, we will visit a Port wine cellars visit and tasting. (Standard two great wines).

After lunch, transfer to the charming mountain Village of Arcos de Valdevez.
Today we will visit the countryside. After a few days visiting the most tourist cities, we will visit the real Portugal without mass tourism. Therefore, the landscape will be different.
Cooking class Dinner at Hotel, you can help the chef Vasco to prepare the dinner This rural hotel promotes the Slow Food in Portugal. Slow Food encourages to use the local products and cook the traditional dishes. It was founded by Carlo Petrini in Italy in 1986 and has since spread worldwide. The goals are the promotion of local small businesses and it is against the globalization of agricultural products.

We had an amazing time! The hotel was very nice and modern. The next morning we drove to Amboseli. Our driver was friendly and knowledgeable when it came to animals. We got to see lots of animals such as a huge herd of elephants, lions (lots of them), giraffes, hippos, etc.
